• New Soror Orientation
  The purpose of this workshop is to acclimate new Sorors to Nu Iota Omega. The workshop will include among other topics an overview of our chapter's history, programs, and committees. Nu Iota Omega prides itself on being a chapter whose members are eager to successfully carry out the business of Alpha Kappa Alpha. We know that each of you will help us to continue this legacy.
  
  
• Leadership Certification
  Enhance your skills by becoming involved in the development of leadership, scholarship, philanthropy and service as we continue to ensure Alpha Kappa Alpha's voice resound through out our community, city and state.
  
  
• Mentorship Program
  As we seek to infuse the spirit and culture of Alpha Kappa Alpha, sorors are asked to be the source of wisdom for new, transferring, or reactivating Sorors. A mentoring program, fully and successfully implemented, can be the mechanism through which the torch is passed.
