November 14, 2007. Nu Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. participated in Orange County's Teach-In 2007. The Teach In is one of Nu Iota Omega's signature programs. Once again, our full commitment was to one of our Partner's in Education-Rosemont Elementary School. The sorors of our chapter spent time in the classroom with 3rd and 4th graders sharing their careers and reading to them. Sorors discussed banking, pharmacy, engineering, accounting, meter reading and utility linemen.
