Teach-In 2006

November 15, 2006. The sorors of Nu Iota Omega once again showed up in numbers to participate in Rosemont Elementary's Teach In program. Our sorors reached many students by speaking to classes. Sorors read books, spoke on careers and gave important advice on how important it is to stay in school. Some of the professions discussed were accountants, attorneys, pharmacists, utility repairmen and other businessmen.

We had a total of 8 sorors participating along with 50 other volunteers from the community. Thanks to the following sorors for participating in this great event: Sorors Denise, Cynthia, Michelle T., Esther, Sekennia, Natanyi, Joann A., Ashakia and Soror Nycole (Milwee Middle School). Rosemont's media staff has invited us to participate in Teach-In 2007.
