Soror the Year 2006

Nu Iota Omega's Greenest Ivy

Belinda Morgan-Sterling

Belinda Morgan-SterlingFebruary 17, 2007. Our 2006 Soror of the Year, Belinda Morgan-Sterling is a dedicated member of Nu Iota Omega Chapter. She has been a blessing to our sisterhood for many years. She is financially active and actively participates on a local and regional level as well as nationwide.

Belinda has demonstrated her leadership abilities on numerous occasions. She spearheaded the Ivy Connection activity where the girls visited the residents at the DePugh Nursing Center. On the membership committee she played an integral part in planning our Hawaiian Festival Sisterly Relations portion of our Retreat. She has participated in the Breast Cancer Walk for two years and raised a substantial amount of money for the cause. She made the ultimate sacrifice by donating her time to the Hurricane Katrina victims by way of FEMA.

Our Greenest Ivy has a smile for every soror. She exemplies a sisterly attitude even when she's guarding the door as Philacter gracefully asking for your $1.00 late fee.
