Soror the Year 2003
Nu Iota Omega's Greenest Ivy
Sorors Vivian Lyte-Johnson & Marveen Z. Jefferson

Sorors Marveen Jefferson and Vivian Lyte Johnson were jointly selected as Sorors of the Year. Sorors Jefferson and Johnson participated in Nu Iota Omega's Founder's Day Committee in 2003. They were active members of the committee that coordinated the wonderful event. They were both active on the Black Family Committee in 2002 and planned the Black Family Picnic.
Soror Marveen was true proponent of Ivy Akademy/Ivy Connection during the time of transition. She was committed and determined not to let the program fold. Soror Vivian also worked with Soror Marveen as her assistant. They were both at each Ivy Connection meeting; and planned wonderful events for the girls.
They both truly exemplify what Sisterhood in AKA really means. They are both warm and outgoing.
