May 30, 2009. The sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. Nu Iota Omega Chapter experienced a wonderful evening with lots of games, conversation, laughter, and barbecue at the home of Soror Talera Thompson (SNO Chairperson). Sorors made wonderful new memories and built stronger bonds together. There were 19 sorors in attendance. Soror Talera and Honey Do (Dirk) were presented with warm gifts from the ladies of Nu Iota Omega Chapter as a “Thank you” for their hosting this SNO Game Night Barbecue Event. The occasion was absolutely Engaging, Satisfying, and Pleasurable!
