Paint Your Plate

June 24, 2006. Participants met at the Winter Park Community Center and participated in a workshop entitled "Paint Your Plate" which was led by a dietician from Florida Hospital. During this workshop participants learned about the nutritional benefits of different colored foods, how to plan a meal for maximal nutritional benefit, and how food choices can help with weight loss. Participants also were able to discuss with a physician many of the dermatologic treatments that are now available for skin care. One participant even won a gift certificate to a medical spa. At the end of the program participants were provided a healthy snack.
