1st Annual Mother-Daughter Tea 2006

May 13, 2006. Nu Iota Omega and its Ivy Connection celebrated it's 1st Mother Daughter Tea. Each mother daughter team were photographed for a keepsake. Mother Daughter teams played scrabble games (all about teas) and Soror Vivian Lyte-Johnson gave us the history of “High Tea”. The mother daughter team that won the scrabble, each won a gift balloon. We dined on various salads, fruit, crackers, cheeses, croissants and brewed tea! For dessert we had mini cup cakes and the official AKA punch provided by Soror Sandra Smith. The day ended after each daughter presented her mother with the gift she created at Glaze Under Fire.
