An Ivy Connection Thanksgiving

November 12, 2006. The residents of DePugh Nursing Center received a treat this month. This was the second month in a row that Nu Iota Omega visited the residents. This time the Ivy Connection girls came with us and they came bearing gifts. Each girl had a gift bag full of goodies for each of the residents. The Ivy Connection also showed its spirit collectively. From September to November, the girls collected non-perishable items to prepare a Thanksgiving Basket for a family in our community. Mr. Moore, Director of the Winter Park Community Center provided us with a family and we presented a basket with all the fixings for a hearty Thanksgiving dinner along with a gift card to Publix to buy a nice size turkey.
