May 3, 2008. On a pleasant Saturday morning, Nu Iota Omega Chapter gathered at the Disney Entrepreneur Center in downtown Orlando to set up for the first Equipping Savvy Professionals Workshop. All of the participants had excitement and enthusiasm in their eyes. The purpose of the workshop was to give solid information on starting a business, buying a franchise and setting up finances once you set up your business. The three speakers were excellent- Cheryl Cormier- Executive Vice President of Soul Purpose Inc.; Dexter Costin, Financial Advisor- Merrill Lynch and Brian Watson, Consultant, Sunbelt Business Advisors. An excellent lunch was served. The workshop attendance was approximately 50 professionals from the Orlando community. “Great job done by our Entrepreneur Committee”.
