The Ivy Connection Visits
The DePugh Nursing Center

November 11, 2006. The Ivy Connection girls activity for the month was to visit DePugh Nursing Center. The girls prepared goodie bags of personal care items to deliver to residents at DePugh. When the girls arrived at DePugh with the Sorors of the Chapter, the residents had been eagerly anticipating our visit. They were quite excited and anxious to meet everyone. The girls played bingo with residents and gave goodie bags as prizes to the winners. The girls hand delivered goodie bags to residents that were not able to participate in bingo in the designated activities room. Sorors supervised and assisted with all activities throughout the visit at the nursing home. The Ivy Connection girls and Sorors informed the residents that they would be back to visit them within the first quarter of next year.
